Medi-Lab already provided full 24 hour 365 days a year laboratory services to both public and professionals. Providing a range of tests and profiles the company sold these tests via telephone. Medi-Lab requested we help build an online facility in which members of the public could purchase tests or profiles online. They would then be able to arrange the test to be taken by an arranged nurse or via their own GP.

The site also had to cover a brief to provide free medical related articles and news. The site is more than simply ecommerce and can be used as a medical reference in its own right.

To fulfil this brief we designed a bespoke ecommerce solution coupled with a news and articles based system. We also provided dynamic glossary features to allow the site administrators to add descriptions of medical terms.

The site was also fully marketed by IMPL's internet marketing services.
